I am looking for a best friend/lover to share my life and hopefully grow old with. I love film (mostly indies but go to mainstream as well), theater, fiction, comedy clubs, crossword puzzles, KFOG, checking out new restaurants, wine tasting, cooking, my two cats, tropical vacations and travel. I'm a big fan of political humorists including Bill Maher and Jon Stewart. Also love Rachel Maddow. I love my DVR and Netflix, and honestly can't imagine not owning a TV. Some favorite shows have been the Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Dexter, Weeds and Mad Men. I'm not particularly outdoorsy (no camping!), preferring urban activities, though I do like to go for the occasional hike in the parks around the Bay Area, biking and swimming. I am pretty, petite, with a dry wit and in good physical shape. I value honesty in relationships, humor, intelligent conversations, psychological awareness, loyalty and compassion. My politics are definitely to the left. I consider myself relatively low maintenance, though I'm sure there are those who would disagree. I don't have kids, but I'm ok if you do. Same for dogs. I would ideally like to find a cat lover, or at least a cat liker, but at the very least please be a cat tolerator. In addition to the cat requirement, I am looking for someone who is funny, irreverent, smart, attractive and lives life with integrity.
