I am looking for that one man who is looking to love one woman for the rest of his life...

I think I am growing weary of my search for my soul mate... I guess I should be happy with the fact, that I had to opportunity to be married for 17 years and was blessed with 4 wonderful children... But it seems I am destined to be single in my older days...

Life has been tremendously busy... But I will still keep an eye out for him, as he might be coming around the next corner...

I am a divorced woman with 4 children.
Two live with me here in Texas and two are grown and live in California.
My hobbies include blogging, provoking, blogging, provoking... Did I mention blogging?

I bought my house two years ago. I finally got my new car, so my next goal is to get out of debt. You might ask why I shared this. It's because I want to let you know that I am an independent woman and I know how to take care of myself and my own. I have been doing it for over 8 years now. And proud and very blessed for the life I have.

I have a wonderful sense of humor and love to laugh about life.

I am not looking to be a booty call, and hope that any man out there realizes it takes time to build a friendship/relationship. And it takes spending time together to grow that friendship into a meaningful relationship. So if you are looking for a quick fix, I am not your lady... Keep moving on!!

Ok... I am hoping this is long enough...

When using text messages, IMs and email... so much can get lost in interpretation. Sometimes we might have the tendency to misread a message or add our own feelings of how the other person came across... leaving too much room for error...

Therefore I have learned that sometimes you have to just kindly dismiss the person and move on...

I know that age is just a number, but please be over 30 preferably over 35... I have children in their early 20s...

Not so much looking for that first date. I like to refer to it as a first meet. No expectation. Just a casual meet over lunch to see if there is a connection. If there is no connection the possibility of a friendship would be nice also.
