A lot of my time is taken up doing school work, grant work, lab work and other things for my advisor. I still enjoy doing different things, though. I love to get outside and exercise either through running, cycling, playing rec. sports, or just swimming in the pool. I also like cooking and eating great food of all types. I'll do almost anything to get out and about, such as going to city centers, museums, shows, and movies. I like all types of movies, but especially like thrillers and comedies. As far as music goes, my taste is pretty eclectic, ranging from classical to alternative rock to pop punk to singer/songwriter.

I also love traveling, though I really don't have the opporunity to do so very often. I love anywhere that is a change of scenery, from little old towns to big cities, but I especially love mountains, forest, and nice beaches. Anywhere that has unique natural features is really interesting to me.

I'd like to do something special, not just the typical dinner and movie or bar/club. Exactly what it'd end up being, though, would depend a lot on the circumstances.
