I'm a small business owner who works hard during the week but still finds time to enjoy the outdoors and stay active. I grew up fishing, biking and playing baseball and still do it to this day. The only difference is the rides are calmer and the fast ball doesn't have the same pop that it used to.

My friends and I have moved on from the bar/club scene. A night out with friends usually consists of a nice restaurant and drinks. Sushi or tapas is always a winner. I also like to have everyone over to barbeque and play cards.

About three years ago I decided that being chained to a cubicle and building spreadsheets was not what I envisioned doing for the next thirty years, so I decided to leave the corporate world and start my own company. Its a tremendous amount of work, but very rewarding and fulfilling on many levels.

I tend to gravitate toward women who also enjoy outdoors activities and being active. I am also very intrigued by women who are independent and know what direction they want to take in life. Also, if there is something passionate in their life, be it career or otherwise.

For a first date I think it's good to meet for a drink or coffee. That way it's low pressure and casual. If it just means meeting a few cool people and making new friends, that's always a good thing, too.
