museum, picnic, lunch, dinner (provided the restaurant is quiet enough to carry on a conversation), a scenic drive (or motorcycle ride) to no place in particular, live music with an exceptional glass of wine, holding hands while walking across the bridge from Lambertville to New Hope at sunset and anticipating the evening ahead, dinner at the Stonehurst Manor in New Hampshire after a day of skiing (O.K., you would probably have to be a bit daring to agree to that as a first date, but just imagine!)...
