Trust me- I can banter with the best of them and be loads of fun, but if I may start by saying: having lost a wife to illness, I am sure the central relationships- family, friends, and loves- are the most valuable things in life, period. Nothing else is as important. Money, job, laughter, not getting audited, all wonderful; but to share a true bond with your family tops all. I try to spend each day like your allowance when you were eleven. Use it all. If someone wants to build a life with me, I welcome it. In the meantime, I will be creating and striving as fully as I can. I hope someone will understand this, and knows that having fun and laughter are not separate from taking your life seriously. If I sound not hip and flip enough, I can be, just not as important as it used to be when young and ironic. Did I just label myself not young? If you know you are amazing-- in some way, you are sure you are stunning, I look forward to meeting you. Nothing is more appealing than someone who knows herself, and for the most part, likes who she is. (Note: the want children field does not allow you to say-- but being with someone who already has a family would be welcome -taking the time to comfortably blend and be included- that would give me great joy.)

If you are with the right person you can be polishing silverware- it doesn't matter. Hopefully we will have talked a bit, made a plan that we both think is comfortable, and then said a little prayer that it will take us off this site tomorrow.

That being said a nice walk by the river or through the park, something easy, tea- whatever- in a place where talking is easy and we can be ourselves.
