| | OK, well I've never done this before, I have no idea if it's for me but am intrigued enough to fight technology for a while and see what happens. I guess my one goal is to be happy, perhaps a pat phrase but there you go. Things that make me happy include being with friends and travelling, though I confess I am also a bit of a coward so probably won't go trekking in the Himalayas. Small hotels and some comfort are more my style.
Favourite country? Probably Italy, the hills around Florence are wonderful, but then China is amazing. I'm a non-serious country walker. Oh I know how to put one foot in front of the other, but I like to stop and look at the world, listen to the bird song and look at flowers, rather than just walking. I'm very interested in the natural world, though I am not that fond of spiders. Please don't think of me as some kind of eco-warrior, I'm not. Still we live on a nice planet and I kind of like it.
I take pictures as a hobby of, well all the stuff I have mentioned (though not spiders), listen to everything from rock/pop though Jazz, rhythm and blues (Oh this isn't RnB, check youtube if you'd like to know the differences), Doo-wop, Classical to 16th century baroque. It just depends on what mood I am in. I'm not a fan of rap, dance, house, garage, fluffy or whatever else the latest dance/sampled stuff is called.
I can be outgoing, but am initially quite shy when it comes to meeting people - I guess the main reason I thought I'd give this a go. Sport wise I sometimes play badminton, badly. I once tried tennis, but found all those little holes in the racket had somehow moulded themselves into one big one. Well that's my excuse anyway. I watch motor sport, ice hockey - hey Detroit didn't win this year - and athletics, though why the BBC is so interested in people running round and round and round and... I'll never know. Initially I'm looking for friendship, if things develop then that's great, if not well such is life.
Oh one final thing, if you are using the chemistry feature, I'm afraid it's not very accurate for me. The computer has said 'you are this' and well I'm not really. Sadly it cannot be changed, which is a shame, so never mind the technology, read this and drop me a line if you'd like to.

I'm really not sure what to put here, since it would depend to a certain extent on the other person. Probably not a pub or a meal. More likely a trip somewhere, a museum, gallery, see an exhibition, somewhere where we could chat without the sometimes uncomfortable, oh we are on a date feeling. As I mentioned I'm looking for friendship first but then I'm not sure this is for me, hence my fumble fingueredness and the reason, that, at the moment, I do not feel able to submit a photo. |
