I like to prowl the thrift stores, flea markets, and sometimes yard sales, being retired it gives me something to do and sometimes I find something I want. Seasonally, I have a small garden in my yard and I work in my yard to keep it neat and clean. In inclimate weather I read or surf the net. Since I'm by myself, I like to experiment in the kitchen trying or creating different recipes, sometimes good but others are diasters, I like to keep my house, yard, clothes, and body clean.

I would take my date to the Riverside Park, find a good table near the water, and have my daughter cater a small dinner with wine (and diet Coke), shrimp, sausage, quality crackers, and stuffed strawberry's. Then walk to the entertainment area and visit a few of the pubs that have live music. A friend of mine ownes one and is a musician and would play whatever we'd like. I would end the evening at one of the all night coffee shops and call it a night around midnight
