I am a recently separated, but hopefully soon-to-be divorced 40 year old woman that wants somebody to share my life with. I am too young to be alone. I enjoy photography (when I have the time), computers, traveling (mostly travel for my job though), UK basketball and football, NASCAR. My family and friends are very important to me and I would do anything in the world for them. I have an 18 year old daughter who I love spending time with, but she is in college now and has her own life. I decided it was time for me to have my own life, too. I hope to meet a man that will treat me with the respect, dignity, and affection I deserve. You will get that in return. I enjoy country, blues, rock, and gospel music, comedies, dramas, some sci-fi's, and some actions, as far as movies and television goes. I am comfortable being out on the town or relaxing at home. I am not into the bar scene, but don't mind going for drinks and dancing occasionally. I am a little heavy, but that is just more for the right person to love and to enjoy. I do want to lose weight, but have never had anybody to push me or to work out with (a lot more fun that way). I would like to meet a man that can look past appearances and get to know me as a person. I really am more than just a "fat chick" as some guys like to call me.

I would like to know why a person can't at least reply and say no thanks or not interested after someone sends them a message just to say hello. It is just hello, not a marriage proposal.

I like to go out to dinner where we could talk and get to know each other. Even a walk through the zoo or a picnic in the park could make for a fun first date, depending on the weather. I am open to other ideas though.
