I love the beach, having a nice dinner (usually at home. I am a good cook) , and listening to soft rock, jazz,and blues. I like going to art museums but won't force any one to go. :) I still shoot photographs but for myself. I love driving around and getting lost. It makes for some adventure. :) Did I say I loved the beach? A man with a quick wit makes me weak. I have an infectious laugh and am not afraid to use it. I am a sincere woman who will touch your heart.

I write poetry. I'm into writing haikus now. I wrote a poem and realized it was like a long haiku. I'm getting pretty good at it now. :)

Koolaid Days

popsicle sticky
fingers grip
'fourth hand' bike handles.
paint white,
layered thick.

concord grape's purple smell
hangs heavy in August
curling tendrils tangy, sweet,
grapes exploding
bitter mush.

Small Fridgedaire groaning,
cooling jelly-jar red koolaid.
icy, frosty trays'
plopping cubes
cool grimy neck.

Sweat drips down back,
turning,
reaching,
filling
panting dog's metal bowl.
Drinking greedily
pups awaiting teats

Turning Philco tv set on,
Robin Hood appears.
Cool liquid slides down throat.
mother slowly making
'tunafish' supper.

Two tone Crosley
arriving home.
Father says,"Hi, punkin'!".
jumping,
arms lifting way up,
flying around,
catalpa tree leaves'
green shade.

Black clouds gather.
Boomers resound.

I'm sure it would start with some Italian food. It wouldn't have to be an expensive place, but not McDonald's. I have some taste. :) We'd linger after dinner talking about the beautiful world around us and walk to the car holding hands. Then we'd go find a quiet street and make out like crazy...Oh wait that was high school.
