A BIT ABOUT ME…
I am a fun, intelligent and attractive woman with diverse interests, good friends and a slight wanderlust seeking a partner in adventure. I am a graduate student now –but lived in many places growing up and continue to travel now.

An avid reader, I keep moving by dancing, biking, doing yoga and tossing the disk outside in a game of ultimate frisbee. When the snow hits, I love a good hike or a day of skiing. Love good food, wine, art, museums, music of all kinds and a great movie.

An independent woman with a goofy sense of humour, I am also a warm person with close relationships to friends and family. I am open-minded and spiritual, but not religious. I like a good discussion about politics and public affairs – but not a bloodthirsty debate. I like people who are generally informed and opinionated - without being obnoxious or judgmental.


A TYPICAL WEEKEND THESE DAYS…
Wake up late, grab a cappuccino before heading to a dance class to sweat. Taking a long walk in the sun, pet a few dogs on the way, eating healthy (most of the time), doing some reading before joining friends for a drink and possibly a night of dancing or live music?


A BIT ABOUT YOU…
You are an honest, trustworthy person who is secure in yourself and you are interesting without having to work too hard at it. You might know everything about the intricacies of twitter or local Burmese pythons, but you won't rush to tell it all to me on our first date--YOU KNOW that there are other people in the world besides yourself ;)

You are warm, caring and enthusiastic and have both a love of learning and of people. You are open-minded, positive and appreciate a diverse range of food, music and ideas. You enjoy good food (of all kinds), wine, and you like the outdoors. You are a healthy person, physically and emotionally and don't freak out about the idea of having children.

You have your own life and interests, but make room for someone else in your life. You know or are curious about the world beyond the confines of your apartment/neighborhood/country and enjoy traveling, from a lazy beach vacation to a budget adventure tour on a boat down the Nile. Also, although you may be physically active, you are also intellectually active as well (that can take many forms).

I love dancing and all kinds of music: classical, funk, R & b, soul, Brasilian bossa nova (discovered a NEW Brasilian Singer recently from the 70s), opera, basically all types of music. Read all kinds of books, novels, historical fiction and all kinds of movies (faves include - Amelie, Constant Gardner, A room with a View, and anything by Almodovar).

For a first date, i always think it should happen after a few email/chat exchanges to see if we have anything in common.
THEN, I would suggest getting a really good cappuccino on a patio or a nice glass of white wine on College or somewhere patio-like.
