Hello! Thank you for taking the time out to read my profile. I am a 33 year old man looking for the love of his life. I am genuine, gentle, kind hearted and friendly. I love to read, go to the beach, drive around looking for quaint and cozy little places to eat, traveling, art house thought provoking film and going to the gym. I am upbeat and outgoing, love to smile and talk to people. I do work a lot, I won't kid you, sometimes 14 and 15 hours a day. But I do take a breather every week, to relax and unwind. Love to have a nice glass of wine and watch the sunset, philosophizing, talking about future plans or reminiscing about the past. I think I am a gentle person, who is a good listener. I've been around people from other cultures. In fact I lived in other countries for a bit, doing a student exchange after college.

I am currently working in a family owned/operated gas station and also doing side work, renting out and repairing condos we own. During the evening I am studying for my board exam, I am a Medical School graduate. I graduated, failed my board exam and wandered for a few years. Now I'm back in the saddle determined to pass it and move on to what I always wanted to do with my life, become a doctor. I have a passion for helping people and it's something I enjoy doing. Although studying has been tedious, I try to look upon it as a down payment now, which will pay off later.

Some special talents I have are that I've played guitar since I was 14. I know a ton about repairing and running computers. I have my bachelors degree in pre-med and philosophy, minor in history. I work out often and know about weight training and bodybuilding. I speak 3 languages (Spanish, Greek, English). My main area of expertise though is medicine. I also have a brown belt in Karate which I earned during high school, I don't know if that counts lol

The first thing people usually note about me is my respectful nature and air of calmness. I've been told I'm very easy to talk too. Also I've been told many times, I look better in person than in my pictures. I think I put people at ease pretty quickly and can usually chat with most anyone, from any walk of life.

Favorite Movie: Hiroshima Mon Amour, 1959, directed by Alain Resnais, French.
Favorite Music: Richard Wagner, Opera (Don Giovanni, La Boheme, Cosi tan Tutti etc.), Hard Rock/Heavy Metal, Top 40, Latin, 80's, Big Band, slow tunes to dance to :)
Favorite Food: Chinese and Mexican, I enjoy Won Ton Soup and a good taco de chorizo o carne asada. I also enjoy Greek food, because it is my heritage. I grew up on it (thanks mom). Italian too of course, but that is a given, it's so ubiquitous in our cuisine, it would be hard to say no.

6 things I couldn't live without...Chocolate, I really love chocolate LOL, hot, cold, in a bar form or mocha, I'd be lost without it. Books, I love to read and it takes my mind away for a time. The beach,my umbrella and my beach chair...no explanation necessary. Philosophy and spirituality...got my bachelors degree in philosophy soooo......Loved ones, I can't live without family and friends, I'd go crazy :(

I spend a lot of time thinking about future plans, family and traveling. I try not to spend too much time thinking and rather spend time doing though. I believe you can dream all you want, but you have to get up and do it or you'll be dreaming all your life.

A typical Friday night for me would probably be out with some friends, but more than likely home reading and sipping on a glass of wine. Since I study currently for my exam, I'll probably be doing that also. But I'm not afraid to get up and go out, come back and do what I have to do. A person needs to break routine and be social, I don't like isolation.

The most private thing I'm willing to admit here is that I tear up during sad movies. I don't cry but I'll get very emotional. Especially if it's a lost love, it's like a pin in my heart. I'm just a hopeless romantic I guess.
