I am currently in the Navy and stationed in the DC area. I am retiring in about a year and will move into my house in Kearneysville. I get up to the WV area as much as I can to visit family and friends.

I am checking to see what / who is in the WV area and may be looking for a new friend, more if there is a connection.

I know it may sound weird or crazy but not I am not looking in DC area because 1) I dont stay here on weekends when not working, 2) I dont plan on working or staying in the DC area when I retire.

I am easy going and laid back. I've been known to be a little sarcastic! I am also usually very blunt and do not have any problem getting to the point. Life is too short for BS. When it comes to life, it is the simple/small things that make me happy. I enjoy being active and meeting people. I love being around family and friends; especially with the kids.

I'd like to meet someone who knows what she wants out of life. Someone that knows how to be herself no matter what situation she may finds herself in.

A first date would depend on the location and what we agree on. However, to get to know each other, a good first meeting and talk would probably be over a coffee or drink where the noise isn't too loud and we can hear each other.
