I'm planning a move to Bellingham in the near future - one to two months. I've been working in the renewable energy field for the past few years. I have had the pleasure of working with Alaskans and Canadians on issues of mutual interest. My hobbies for the moment are traveling, fishing and cooking. In the future I hope to delve in beekeeping again. It was a hobby that I enjoyed quite a bit. I'm a bit of a history buff, finally emerging.

I hope to complete an Associate degree within the next year - I just need to accomplish a college algebra class. Then not to long in the future a Bachelor's degree. My aspiration is to get a Masters in Public Policy from a respected eastern (U.S.) university.

I'm a kind, caring guy who loves my children with all my heart. I used to be a bit of a lay-a-bout, but I found that doing this was terrible for my outlook on life and meant that I'd not be around for very long. Keeping fit is my goal, because my body needs physical workouts to maintain youth - something quite necessary as one ages.

My taste in music is eclectic - it knows very few bounds. I enjoy Coldplay to Creedence to Beethoven and much more.

If you want me to respond to you, at least provide a picture - it's only reasonable for me to have an idea of who I'm responding to.

Oh I think meeting for coffee, tea or something akin to those is a good thing. It's a nice way to ascertain whether there is a mutual interest. I've had some strange experiences on first dates where my date wasn't at all what I expected. So I'd not want to put myself or the other person through prolonged misery if that is what it turned out to be. So a casual coffee seems about the best.
