I treat people fairly and with respect. I'm kind and try to be helpful and caring with the people in my life. I expect the same. If picking a fight is your way of getting attention or dealing with stress or whatever, please, please move on I am so seriously not interested. Discussing differences of ideas is fine, even a little spat after we know each other well is ok, it happens.

My family means everything to me. I don’t see all of them as much as I’d like but they tease me and tell me that if I had my way they’d all still live at home! It’s not true but don’t tell them! They wouldn’t understand that Mom is enjoying the empty nest. My grandkids love to come over and spend time with me and I love it but I love it when they go home too.

I consider everything a learning experience and hey, if I can find some humor in it then I'm good! I often laugh at myself when I do something silly.

The things I am most grateful for is ... are not THINGS. I'm most grateful for my life, my family and friends and my darling dog. I’m also grateful for modern medicine as well as ancient medicine, sometimes “old” is better. I’m working really hard to getting healthy and hope that I can find someone equally interested in being healthy.

I can't say I really want to be on this site. I want a long term relationship; I just want to take a really long time dating someone special to find out if we can even think of being long term. I’d rather be alone the rest of my life than be with the wrong man.

Traveling, concerts, finding ways to help others, spending time with just my man and me, hot springs and messages rank right up there. Visiting historical sites and getting a feel of the place is always interesting. Cookouts and reunions, family holiday times. Mmmmm....all Heavenly to me.

I mostly listen to rock and country but will listen to good beats of nearly any kind of music, except head banger, screaming and profane words, it all becomes "noise" and a throbbing headache real fast!

We should meet in a public place, of course. Then we could find something active to do. Go for a walk, swim, work out. We could go to fairs, festivals, and museums, go fishing, maybe eventually snuggle on the couch and watch some TV once in awhile.
