I enjoy Family Geneology, Nova Scotian & Acadian History, History in general In a very big way. I enjoy Country, Newfie, Irish and Good old Country Gospel music. I like cats.
I AM NOT INTO THE BAR SCENE, I am not a swinger, I enjoy my home,family, my cat and my friends. I am a bit of a home body I guess, A BIT SHY AT FIRST ! I write poems and songs sometimes, (usually takes some sort of event that has an influence on me before I start to write.
Back in the 60's I spent 3 years in the Canadian Army, and 3 years in the U.S Army. I WAS A COMERICIAL FISHERMAN for almost 40 years, had a Heart Attack 3 years ago and was told that i could no longer make a living fishing. Rather than stay at home and wait to die, I decided to joing the Corps of Commissionaires. And let me tell you, "it's really feels good to be back in uniform" ! I love my work, it's quite demanding at times, but I have to have a challange.
