I am 6'5", 230 lbs and athletic. I have a BS in Electrical Engineering from U of L and a Masters in System Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School. I am currently enrolled and getting my Masters in Engineering Management at U of L. I enjoy all types of music excluding rap. I have a 5 year old daughter who is the centerpiece of my life.

Now the big question what I am looking for in someone. I do have kind of a mental checklist in my head. I am an engineer so lists area fact of life for me. First I have to be attracted to the person. When I meet the person I need to feel like there is some sort of chemistry. There is so much to chemistry so it hard for me to put down into one sentence. Chemistry is something that you happens on the first or second meeting but accumulated over time. It’s when two people meet and they connect at a deeper level with their heart and soul. Over time it’s about being best friends, the feeling contentment when they are with you. It’s about mutual respect that each person has for the other. It’s about putting you mate’s needs over your own. I know that I am leaving some stuff out that I will remember as soon as I hit the send button but this is the core ideas that I have for chemistry. Lust will not last, chemistry will.

With all that being said other things that I am looking for are someone with a good set of values. Values are important to me. Work ethics, family and how a person carries them selves because all will be seen by my daughter. Must be a woman of substance. I raised my Step-daughter for nine years and she is 14 and I know for a fact that my values have gone an extremely long way to making her the great kid she is now. I honestly believe without me she would have no stood a chance in the situation she was in.

Drug users need not apply.

Accepting my child as part of their life is mandatory. This is the deal breaker as far as I am concerned. She is part of me.

Having a career is important but the not a requirement. (Requirement that sounds like an engineer talking doesn’t it?)

Well that’s kind of my quick and dirty of what I am looking for.
