I would like to think of myself as an educated, charming, chivalrous individual with a great sense of humor.

Some may find me a bit shy at first, but I open up as people get to know me. Soon after they find out I am really a big kid at heart and kind of a goof; I love to make people laugh.

Recently, I started to make a list of things I would like to accomplish in my life. The list, while growing, has made me stop and reflect a bit. By no means has my life been dull so far, but I have realized that I want it to be full of so much more. Some of these include projects I wish to undertake, including: going back to school, learning a new language, take ballroom dance lessons, finish my pilots license, culinary classes, visit a remote part of the world, etc. I am looking for someone who will support these type of endeavors and also actively participate in a few of them with me. Late last year, while looking at grad schools, I had the opportunity to fly to many cities I have never been before. It was a grand adventure for me, and I look forward to randomly traveling around the country later this year.

Since I started match, I have gained a better picture of what I am looking for in a partner. This is by no means an all inclusive list but more of a rough guideline.

Adventurous - Someone that will be willing to pick up and head out to a new spot for the weekend. Let it be a new area of town that was previously unexplored, or 500miles away. They need to have a desire to explore.

Creative Outgoing Personality - This one has been very difficult for me to find. I need someone that I know can be proper at a formal function, yet act like a kid when the time calls for it. I have a very “silly” and yet “dry” sense of humor. In a nutshell you need to be able to have fun and play at Disney World then be dressed that evening for a nice dinner.

Educated - I am a strong believer in higher education. While this isn't a deal breaker if you haven't attended college, but strong points if you have. Even more if your in or have finished grad school. The education system in American youth is flawed, I do admit, and one day I would love to be a part that remedy that one day. I have even considered opening a charter school and working with others that feel this way to give future generations a stronger start.

Passion to Help Others - I really enjoy giving my time for the benefit of another. This is important to me. I volunteer at the science center, tutor mathematics, as such.

Opposites Attract - This is an age old concept, however, I think it has merit. I can be very shy and reserved when I first meet someone, and sometimes I wish I was a bit more outgoing. So ideally finding someone that was a bit opposite of me would be ideal. However, they should have the same basic core value, beliefs, and morals I have.

Casual Drinker - If your idea of a good time is heading to the bar and having a few too many, then sorry, we probably wont be a good match. I am looking for someone that has gotten that out of there system in years prior, and ready to put that behind them.
