I am laid back, intelligent, analytical, thoughtful, and funny (I think I am anyways!). I was born and raised here in Florida and I wear flip-flops 99 percent of the time...wedding and funerals are not usually open to flip-flops :). One thing that I must reveal up front is that I am not a big planner and usually just go with the flow. Drinks and dinner with friends are frequent, but rarely planned more than a day in advance. ;)

I like to go to concerts, scuba dive, play pool, try to surf, take pictures of random dilapidated buildings and things made of now rusted metal (read planes, trains and automobiles), take my dog to the dog park and watch movies. Going out with my friends to a pub or restaurant with outside seating and cold beer is truly relaxing, and I partake in this activity as often as I can. :)

Friends and family are important to me and I try to spend as much time as I can with them. I am the type of person that will do anything for my friends anytime, no questions asked and I expect the same of them and anyone I date.

I guess that I will end by saying that I own a home, have a car, a good job and the coolest dog ever. I must warn anyone interested in me that my dog must approve of any new person in my life, and that person must at least tolerate him as well. The good news is that Deuce pretty much likes everyone, so the problem becomes finding someone that can handle him. He is well trained, but is a 135-pound Greater Swiss Mountain dog, so he is not exactly a lap dog.

The person I am looking for:

I don't think that I have a type exactly. I think you need to look at the individual, learn about them and make a decision from there. I am willing to listen to anyone that has something to say and must admit that I like to listen more than talk, as long as you have something interesting to talk about.

Finally, I need my "match" to be out of the party phase...I go out often enough, but I go to a bar, pub or a friend's house, I am not a club guy. Waiting in line to get in somewhere, waiting in line to get a drink and then waiting in line to go to the restroom is not my idea of a good time. If I wanted to do that I would go to Disney for the thousandth time (hey it comes with the territory when growing up in FL). I also don't have a need or a want to go out every night and every weekend.

Oh, and if you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, your and you're, or to and too we probably won't get along. :)
