My name is Nick Dorsey. I'm 23, I like martial arts and music. I play guitar and sing. I hope to get a band together someday. I like heavy metal. I'm always quiet when I first meet people. Everyone thinks im shy, but thats not really it. I usually just have nothing to say, because the kind of things I like and talk about aren't what most people think about. I like things like history, philosophy, or religion. I like talking about intelligent things like science or how stuff works, or even meditation and spirituality. Hell, even politics if it'll produce a conversation that consists of more than menial small talk. I'm not looking to date anymore, mainly just on here for friends until I meet someone who I can have this with. And unlike 99.9% of the male population, I'm not going to have sex with you on the first date, and probably not the second or third. My email volume is probably going to decrease considerably after writing this, but I figure I'd rather have a few emails from people who have something interesting to say than a million dull "hey, how r u" messages.

We actually have to have something to talk about before there can be a date. Because if I do go on a date, it's going to be with someone I can actually see myself being friends with. All great relationships are built on friendship and trust. Nothing fancy, just show up. And be half-way intelligent. However, I will say that my momma raised me to be a gentleman. Yes, I do open doors and all that jazz. Keep me interested and you will be treated like a lady :)
