| | This is the part where I'm supposed to say I love animals, would like to eventually be a doctor and I want world peace. Well some of that is true, but like any married man will tell you, I'll settle for just peace. (not to be confused with "a piece") I see POF has a special category for those people.
It appears, from reading other profiles that most people in this category (yes, I mean married) stuggle with explaining why they find themselves peeking over the fence into their neighbours back yard. Lets all admit, that contrary to what our parents told us, Harlequin Romance did not write the manual on marriage. (although I think Stephen King may have participated in a few chapters) Looking for that special someone outside the confines of marriage may come as a surprise to your friends, but to your parents, who know everything we think we thought of first, are probably not surprised and wishing they had the internet when they grew up. I'm sure I haven't entirely rid you of your feelings of guilt (nor I) but it's healthier to laugh about what hasn't gone right then to stress about it.
If you've read this far then there is hope for me yet. What is important to me? Nothing means more to me than my kids. They are the reason I get out of bed every morning. (and sometimes several times during the night too) In addition, I am fascinated with so much that life has to offer and I realize that nothing will change if I don't do something. Your life could completely change based on that one email that you open or send...but if you don't open it or send it, nothing will happen.
If you're still with me at this point, I have a riddle for you. If you know the answer then please type it in an email. Not that it matters if you don't, but it's a starting point.
What is life's greatest risk and biggest reward? It can be captured in a moment and last an eternity?
P.S. Oh yah, I can be a bit of a romantic at times too! |
