| | I have just moved to Montreal from out West. I came here looking to explore the arts scene in Montreal and partly to improve my French. I get so excited at my French learning milestones, like having an entire phone conversation in French (that's hard for me) or understanding the French news radio I wake up to because for a while there I was totally out of the loop when I wouldn't let myself switch back to English radio.
It has been such an amazing adventure so far. There is so much to do here, it's fantastic.
I enjoy staying active, I go to the gym a lot, I love chocolate, dogs, dancing, Shakespeare, improvised and sketch comedy, running, drinking wine, skating, theatre, horses, camping and swimming.
I am applying to go back to school for fall 2010 if no greater professional opportunity knocks on my door. So in that respect I am just starting out. I'm committing to a more stable and practical career. Then I can chose which artistic projects I want to do on the side.
