I have fulfilling work and a good life. I love many types of music. I value fitness (walking, dancing, gardening) and people with interests. I am affectionate, independent, financially and personally secure, and consider myself a lifelong learner. What's missing? Someone to share it with after the loss of a long marriage. I've taken the time to rediscover my joy and am ready to share it with someone who is looking for a long-term loving relationship. I know that getting to know someone takes time and am comfortable taking it slow with a person who has the same intentions. I am both a reflective and spontaneous person. Cuddling and physical affection and intelligence (not necessarily degrees) are important to me.

That depends on the person responding--for example, I'm fine if a cautious person wants to go for coffee as long as he is open to a second cup if the meeting goes well and maybe a walk as well. I prefer lunch or dinner or a walk, so there is time to talk. Movies and other outings are fine later, but connections are best made when the location allows for interaction.
