I was born in Alaska and was transplanted to Oregon 20 years ago.

I love to BAR-B-QUE (Yes that's in caps for a reason) Cooking I enjoy, but sometimes that means a trip to the local Sub Way, and on the bright side I know my smoke detector works.
I don't know much about wine but it is high on my list of things to explore.

I have been told I am a "dork" by my daughter and you know what they say about dogs and kids so it must be true.
I love camping and almost anything outdoors however hiking is not my thing. Some of the best times in my life have been sitting around the campfire with friends and family.
I love to ride quads. (ya that's just good fun)

I believe that life is not about the problems that we all deal with, but about the way we deal with the problems. I am a person that wants the best for those around me and I enjoy helping others.

I am interested in finding a balance between adult and family time. Kids are very important to me, seeing a smile on my daughter face when she learns something new.... Wow can you ask for anything more? She is a great part of my life and we come as a package deal.
To me music is all about the mood, soft rock, hard rock, jazz I like almost anything.

Public place coffee, ice cream, no pressure.
First date:
The first date is about getting to know you. I will be interested in you what you like to do, not because I don't want to come up with ideas, but when we do something we both truly enjoy we will have a lot more fun together. That being said their is no place better than the beach to me, the food, the water, the sand, the sunshine(liquid or regular) well I'll just say, I find that very romantic.
