I was married for 18 years and now I'm single again and trying what everyone has told me is the best way to meet people, hopefully they weren't wrong. I would like to meet someone that I enjoy spending time with and maybe if we are right for each other start a more serious relationship.

I learned a lot during my marriage about the things you should and shouldn't do in a relationship. I'd like the opportunity to put the things that I have learned into practice, not to mention having some fun along the way. Being single has its upside but nothing in the world can make you feel quite as good as the company of someone you truly care about.

I enjoy all types of music from jazz and the blues to dance, pop, techno and yes even a little metal if I'm in the right mood.

On the first date I think it would be a good idea to set up a quick get together over a cup of coffee to see if we are right for each other.
