I try to find any opportunity possible to make people (and myself) laugh. Sometimes life is just too funny to not speak your mind about it! Some people call me a sarcasm expert. I consider myself very open-minded - I'll try anything or appreciate any viewpoints people bring to my attention. I've also been told that I'm a great listener.

I spend most of my free time doing local and semi-professional theater. It's what I really love to do, but it's not very often that I make any lasting friendships from it. I have so many diverse interests, and really don't like to talk about theater 24/7 like some people do. The people I tend to connect with are ones who also have diverse interests; who I can talk to not just about theater, but also about music, travel, politics, philosophy, movies, sports, anything. Variety is key. Oh yeah, and they're usually hilarious, too.

I'm looking for someone who is smart, funny, and active, yet laid-back. I enjoy a guy who can challenge me in a conversation, and can win over anyone with his confidence and wit. I'm a sucker for a guy who can make me laugh out loud without trying too hard. Someone who is somewhat athletic and into sports (but not a fanatic!) but can also appreciate art and music. By the way, I'm all for keeping healthy, but I don't care how often you go to the gym. If you list "working out" as one of your top 5 interests, that's great, but we probably won't get along.

A lot of guys talk about how they don't want someone who "plays games." I'm not even sure what that means, so I guess I'm in the clear, right?! Honestly, I've asked a few guys what they mean by it, and they can't explain it either. My best guess is that they've had experience with women who have not been truthful with them, or done things to make them jealous (?). Can anyone help me out with this one? Either way, that's obviously not me. I'm always completely honest, and expect the person I'm dating to be as well.

I'm up for anything, and just enjoy it so much more when it's with someone special, even if it's just a day inside lounging around and watching TV. I will admit, I'm not very adventurous on my own, but love a guy who will drag me out somewhere exciting and show me a good time!
