Ok ... rewriting this thing, the non descriptive profile just isn't my style.

Who am I?

Very honest, loyal, salt of the earth guy that has encountered the odd surprise in the past while but has adjusted and become a new version of himself; possibly even improved!

I have two kids, aged 7 and 5 which I think important to get out in the open up front as I have little interest in anyone that would hold that against me. I'm a dad, which to me doesn't mean I've merely fathered children, but actually play a major role in raising them. They are great kids. It's my job to make sure they become greater. I won't fail at this.

I have a great career, it challenges me every day and changes all the time. I love that. I'm restless ... never sit still. I like TV, but like PVR even better in that I can watch whatever I want to watch when I want to watch, and fast! Other than that I like to work out, run a lot, play hockey, golf, and any other activity that keeps me from just sitting there. I haven't camped much, but then I think that's more due to equipment that sucks (read leak and freeze) then anything else as I'm pretty much a roughing it guy. I'm handy as hell, and own all the key power tools. I take on projects with a fury, and ask for more.

I'm a big talker. Men aren't generally so I need to point this out. If I have a thought you'll hear it which is very good for the most part, but also bad if you're not a talker, or a person that likes to keep feelings close to their vest. Most women are talkers so this should work out fine. Just tell me to shut up if need be.

I was with the same person for a very long time, and married for just shorter than that. I say this not to boast, but to draw attention to the simple fact that there is some baggage in my life; not serious baggage, but once again, no point in beating around the bush if a person is looking to avoid that sort of thing (I've seen some female profiles pointing that out).
