Right now I enjoy spending time with my kitten, watching movies and hanging out with my close friends. I am a HUGE movie buff [especially older, and horror movies], love food but moreso love cooking and baking for other people!

I'm in a transitional period again, I just moved back up island for the 1st time in a decade and will be starting a new program in the Fall 2010 in Victoria for CFCS, basically am getting back to basics and starting my adult life all over again!



Random Facts about me:
~I'm a hopeless romantic at heart.
~I'm always honest, even if it hurts.
~I don't have time to waste on people who aren't true to themselves and to others.
~I cherish my close friends and family more than anything.
~I won't put up with any crap. I can deal it and take it, but if you're looking for the type of person to walk all over, keep on walking!
~I am offbeat, but in an endearing way [at least I like to think so!]
~I'm an addict to diet dr.pepper, blackberry soy italian sodas and soy london fogs.
~I could eat Japanese food every day forever, and be perfectly content!
~I've watched Rocky Horror, Monster Squad, Darjeeling Limited and Amelie probably over 50 times a piece. Mostly out of comfort. They take me to a lovely place.
~I've got 11 tattoos with the intention of getting more in the future.
~I'm not a huge people person. I'd rather have a dinner party, or stay in, than go out. And I'm happy with that part of my personality.


Hopefully, a bit about future friends:
~You don't drink more than on occassion. I'm not interested in making friends who drink excessively.
~You don't partake in any illegal drugs [including pot]. I just don't want that around me at this time in my life.
~You have goals, dreams and aspirations!
~You have a good sense of Self, without being narcissistic or full of it.
~ You've got a wacky sense of humor! I love jokes and stories. I love old fables and fairy tales, awkward type of humor. Expression is everything!
~You're NOT interested in just "hooking up". I'm not into that, and don't need friends who are interested in asking for that either.
~You love animals!
~You can cook, and love to have food made for you! I am huge into baking, and cooking and love to have dinner parties and cook for my friends.
~You want the same things as me in terms of life goals. I'm big on stability and security. It doesn't have to take the fun out of life, it's just important to ME to have that in my life, as best as life will allow.
~You don't feel stupid reading to me. Even kids books! I have a huge collection and I love it when people read to me, or tell me stories.
~You have some sort of vehicle. Mostly because I really need/want to learn how to drive and it would be most handy. Plus, I never go on roadtrips, and I LOVE them!

Believe it or not, I have NEVER been on a date without being in a relationship or when I was married.

So I have no idea what the heck I would like to do. Most likely get some tea [Can't drink coffee] or make sushi [which I love to do], watch a movie etc.
