I am a fit professional, with a great career. I do not watch TV very often (prefer being active, having fun), do not watch sports, rarely drink and when I do it's only wine or dark beer, never smoked. Divorced 9 yrs ago. Have no pets, but like ....most of of them, lol.

Honesty and openess are qualities which I believe in and I am hoping that they would also be with whomever I am with.

I believe in family, health, monogamy, fitness (very much), knowledge, altruism, and life (will avoid a bug on the sidewalk, if I can :).

Friendships, compromise, intimacy, communication, and affection are very important to me.

OK, let me see, a little more...I am easy going, never swear or curse. I suppose handy (built houses, cabins, garages, kitchens, finished basements, decks, can fix a vehicle-if I have the time, ..etc...). Was raised in the city (Calgary), but my father was an Ex farmer/cowboy...so he made sure I knew the values of a being on a farm and everything that goes with it,…as far as my Mom, who I think is an angel, filled in the rest.,….and still does sometimes, lol.. I am close to my brothers, sister, and their families, and although my two beautiful daughters are almost grown-up they are still very important to me.

People place so much emphasis on CHEMISTRY on these sites I think sometimes they overlook what is really important in any type of connection, dating, or relationship....I suppose it is somewhat significant however it is both meaningless and fleeting without somethings which have more value. I believe some of them are honesty, intelligence, being a nice person, and compatibilty. Probably a good start would be someone with common interests and a simlilar lifestyle.

Ideally friends would be the best way to start.....I am wishing I can find my best friend. I suppose I am looking for what most of us are (even the ones who say they are not), someone who you can trust, be yourself with, enjoy their company, share conversation/intellect/activities, mutual support, have fun with both physically and emotionally. I am hoping to find someone who shares the same beliefs as I, is honest, and true to themselves....doesn't take life too serious...life is short and it should be used for learning, sharing, and fun.

Don't drink coffee... haha
