Me in a nut shell

I grew up in vancouver but have spent a lot of time all over BC. I've lived downtown Van for 10 years and still need to get out of the city for a hike, lake or hot spring every few months or I get a little squirrelly. It's so easy to get out into nature in metro Vancouver, which keeps me here.

I work downtown and volunteer at a yoga studio. I like to get up, get out and get moving, but know when to find time to lay out and stay in. I love to cook and host, I like to socialize and surround myself with happy people who can fit in with the flow of there surroundings. I'm most always interested in conversation and a bit of sass, so leave your pants at the door.

It wants me to talk about my taste of music, but you'll just have to ask me cuz I like a large variety of music and have some strong opinions and i'm tired of filling out this part.

I've spent a couple of weeks getting to know this site, my intro to online dating; and it seems like I have to explain myself a little better.

Don't beat around the bush, talk to me straight up; Being coy can be cute but nothing beats being direct. I'm out to have a good time with people I can relate to. I don't try to **** every girl I meet, but I am a lustful & loving man, and if I find a girl attractive/of similar interests, I'll seek further interests in friendship, sex, partnership, or maybe just partners in crime.

My mind is open, i have not yet lay a solid path for my future, yet each day I seek to live and be aware of the days ahead. I am easy going and dedicated to what i love(some of those interests are above). I uphold honesty so i can circumvent the bullsh*t and enjoy truthfully.

I have recently decided that a daily routine is foremost and further desired by a motion towards healthy living. I am starting to organize my life to meet my needs before my daily demands, or my daily interests; I find this goal leads me closer to where I want to be in life, as all my other goals lead me to an interest to be more whole hearted.

Point form for quick stereotyping...

- I love to kick it up a notch and party till the wee hours of the morning.
- I like to catch up on sleep and chill out to movies.
- I like to work on creative concepts, be it sewing a Halloween costume to
party in, taking pictures, building stuff at work or home, or anything else that
takes some creative problem solving/effort.
- I can be taken out and left to meet people on my own and expect you to hold your own in an appropriate manor.
- I respect a girl that can speak her mind/feelings and control them.
- Respect is key.
- I'd spar with you before I let a heated issue turn into an overblown argument.
- consider it a compliment if I bite you or spar with you, something from my persona
when excited or intoxicated.
- I can joke like a moron and let myself get light headed, but revel in intelligent
conversation.
- I like to keep healthy, exercise and eat well without holding back from the
indulgence in life.
- I cook better than your mom, and if I don't I want her recipes.
- Long term, short term... like i said, open.

* If I added you as a favorite, take it as a compliment, I thought somethign similar to one of these thoughts... she's...hot, cute, sounds fun, sexy, good taste, I should write to/hang out with her sometime... feel free to beat me to the punch, i like a girl with proverbial balls.

I've had too many conversations with people that amount to nothing. Take a chance in life; Ask me to meet you for a drink somewhere, we can see if we mesh. If you can't handle that you probably can't handle me.

Past that? ...depends on your intentions... be honest about them.

Meet up where we can talk and do something that we both enjoy. Bike ride, cooking together, picnic, hike, mini golf, drinks, food... Random adventures welcomed.
