Recently established in Quebec City, an english as a second language teacher/Pilates and aerobic dance instructor, is hoping to make the acquaintance of a wonderful bilingual gentleman who enjoys speaking in english, dancing (anything will do), cooking together, going for long walks, watching movies either at the theatre or at home (preferably in english),etc. ...Interested ?...Read on to learn a little about me:

I enjoy taking Salsa dancing classes twice a week and dancing with a semi-professional tap/jazz/celtic troupe, as well as working out and teaching aerobic dance and Pilates.

Although in the past I've preferred to have dogs, I have recently adopted two very young stray kittens who are so comical and adorable.

When I can find the time (usually before I go to sleep) I enjoy reading a good book.

My Sirius radio is usually on when I'm at home and positioned on a Jazz station...but I love pratically anything except rap and opera.

However, I love to go to the Ballet or a Musical or a theatre play.

Travelling would be something I would enjoy doing more of in the near future...have been as far as Russia...but it's been a while.

I would love to be able to make some english speaking or bilingual friends...although I am myself bilingual, speaking in english is just easier on my brain :)...and after spending over 20 years with someone who doesn't speak english at all...it seems to have become a priority for me.

As I have recently been in the process of making some major life changes, my goals and aspirations are a little fuzzy for the moment, but, where I have gained the most clarity is in knowing what I no longer want in my life.

People describe me as being very "real"...open and honest and unpretentious...a good listener, a faithful friend, non-confrontational... basically I've learned, especially through some recent life experiences to appreciate each day and not stress about things that are either out of our control or when put into perspective, really not that important...

My goal is to enjoy life as much as I can...and make it a pleasant experience for those who meet or know me...looking forward to learning more about YOU!

An awesome first date for me would be to go out dancing...I seem to be at my most confident and relaxed self on a dance floor, lol...but if we had fun there, then going somewhere quieter to be able to chat and get a chance to know each other better would be great...don't read too much into that please, lol.
That said, any other suggestions for a first date would definitely be gladly considered, except for maybe : hunting, fishing, go-carting, sky-diving, sailboating, and oh yes, meeting you at your place (or mine), lol :)

Looking forward to meeting the person who has at least found this profile of me intriguing :)
