Hi :) Thanks for dropping in.

I relocated from the Nashville, TN area to south FL in Feb. 2006 and loving it (again) ... I have been divorced for 12 years, and my daughters, 16 and 21, live in another state, the younger with her mother. I rarely have time to be bored which is a good thing :) I am a very intense, passionate person who enjoys the simple things in life. I am able to laugh at myself and learn from my mistakes ... yes, I make them. I believe that love and laughter are the absolute best medicines for the heart, soul, mind, & body. I am a responsible person, yet I do not take life too seriously to the point that it's not fun. Life is GREAT! My glass isn't half full, it's overflowing!!! I believe in living life to it's fullest, & it keeps getting better as this awesome journey continues. I cherish every moment of every day. Life is too short to not make the most of everything it brings our way. I, for the most part, go with the flow which makes for the infamous Alfred E. Newman quote, "What, Me Worry?" I am well grounded, comfortable, & secure with who I am. I seek to understand before being understood, making a conscious effort to look for the positive in all things. Aviation is one of my passions. I love playing guitar (have been 'trying' to learn for over 45 years). My interest are so diverse, it would be impossible to list them all here.
I do not jump into relationships, & don't believe in 'making' one happen, but 'allowing' it to develop, grow, flourish, & prosper as it will. Good things come in time, & patience is a virtue I've (finally) developed. I DO NOT believe the Golden Rule *treat others as you want to be treated* applies in a relationship since all people are unique and want to be respected and treated the way 'THEY' want to be treated ... as individuals! I could tell you here how kind, considerate, caring, compassionate, understanding, gentle, loving, and intensely passionate I am, how secure and emotionally stable I am, how I love the outdoors, fine dining, traveling, snuggling by the fireplace, or an intimate walk on the beach with that 'special someone', that I'm fair, honest, loyal & faithful to the end, that I am a curious, daring, adventurous soul, open to new ideas, opportunities, & possibilities. While all the above may apply, anyone can say all that. Seeing is believing ... take a look :) You just might see at least one of those attributes ... who knows? Maybe many or all. NOW, a little about You
I feel that physical attraction is the beginning of any intimate relationship, but by no means the heart of it. There must be emotional attraction, compatibility, and the chemistry MUST be there. I'm not looking for maid, cook, laundress, etc. ... someone to 'take care of me' (you know what I mean, right? If not, ask!) A relationship should be a "partnership" of mutual love, respect, friendship, and understanding. Not looking for someone to 'change for me', but someone who is well grounded, secure in who you are, and know what you want in life. I would like to meet someone who can be a friend first, who will complement my life and vice versa ... one who is over the past, moving forward in this adventure of life. The ability to handle being a little spoiled and pampered is a plus. I would love to meet someone who is active and participating in life, who knows how to have fun, laugh, and be happy! A good sense of humor is most desirable. Oh, ... a MUST is the ability to be rigorously honest with yourself and others. Last note: Please please please ... if you do not have recent photos in your profile here, PLEASE be able to provide at least one somewhat recent photo ... AND, while 'Glamour Shots' are nice, the REAL you will be much more impressive ... surely you understand ;) Fair is fair, right? You see me, I see you. I'm waiting for you ;)

To meet for coffee, a casual lunch, or a glass of wine ... while not exactly a date, would be appropriate for an introduction, right? The 'date' perferences to be determined depending upon the personalities, individual likes, dislikes, etc., but whatever it might be, it should be in a very relaxed environment and FUN!
