I moved to Austin three years ago and am still finding myself lost in the city. I have lived in Virginia, Massachusetts, New York, and Michigan; so yes, I have been known to be a Yankee. (Disclaimer: I am not a Yankees fan, rather I cheer for the Red Sox).

I am independent, a free thinker, and strong-willed (I get it from my mom). I support our troops. I believe Austin should be a no-kill city for our animals, in supporting our local farmers, but I don't own a hybrid. I try to give my time and resources unconditionally to those I love, like, and don't know. I write. I have lots to talk about. I love sports, hiking, camping, pool, darts, photography, the gym, beaches, and coffee (not that I need any, I'm perky enough!). I enjoy lively debates about worldly issues. I'm adventurous and like to try new things. Salsa dancing anybody? I know where the free or cheap lessons are!

I am probably way too affectionate; I have the tendency to greet a stranger with a hug. Friends call me overt, but I don't always agree with them. Why don't you be the judge?

I am looking for somebody who is willing to go out, have fun, and just see where things take us. Let's go do something neither of us have done (in awhile).

I would say dinner and either coffee afterwards, or somewhere quiet in which we can get to know each other even further.
