I’m looking for a solid LTR based on a great friendship, respect, genuine attraction and mutual trust. I’m not into dating a lot of people, but very interested in taking the time to really get to know someone.
I haven’t had much free time over the last several years, but all of that (more on it if you get to know me) is in the past. I’ve finished more school than I care to think about, my career is rolling and I’m ready to start relaxing and enjoying the little things in life. It would be great to have someone meaningful to share it with.
I guess people think of me as tall, dark and handsome, and I think I look better in person than in my pics. I’m usually a little reserved when I first meet people, but warm up fairly quickly…I’m not shy; it’s just the way I am. Once I’ve gotten to know a little more about you, I think I have a great sense of humor…witty, sometimes dry and a little sarcastic (only respectfully!). I’m interested in just about anything and I really like getting out on day trips to places I’ve never been. I like parks, concerts, shows, movies and the kid in me still loves zoos and amusement parks! I’m not into clubbing or hanging out in bars at all unless it’s a decent place for drinks once in a while. I like a ton of music…mainly rock from the 70s-now, 80s music, and GOOD country (George Strait, Alan Jackson, Johnny Cash). I’m ok with pop if it’s catchy.

As for my perfect match, I am definitely attracted to someone with a great sense of humor and a great smile. She would be emotionally mature, but still be silly when the time is right. It goes without saying that I'm looking for someone genuine and honest...down to earth. I'm not perfect and I'm not looking for perfection, but I'm not really attracted to someone with more than a few extra pounds (sorry!). I'm really attracted to girls who are feminine, but also able to dress down and not be prissy all the time. It's sad I have to mention this, but I have no interest in someone who has poor hygiene!

First dates are tough. I hate trying to get a good impression on a first date because you usually try to figure out so much so fast. I guess the specifics depend on the people, but anything that lets you get to know each other without the pressure of feeling like you're in an interview...maybe in warm weather lunch or dinner at the beach and then spending time poking around together enjoying the day and company.
