I like reading, my current favorite authors are Hubert Selby Jr., Kurt Vonnegut, and John Irving. I like writing, mostly poetry like haiku's and limmericks. I like watching movies, favorites include Se7en, The Shawshank Redemption, City of God, Caddyshack, Animal House, etc. I like hiking, lately I've been into Tryon Creek and the Columbia Gorge. I like music, all kinds really; as of late I have been listening to Pandora a lot, The Ting Tings, Lilly Allen, MGMT. I recently became a certified ESL/EFL teacher and am beginning my career as a substitue teacher (for now).

A little about myself:
I'm pretty easy going, a lot of fun to be around, and I'd really just like to meet some new people and see what kind of connection there is. It would be absolutely fantastic to meet someone and build a solid and loving relationship, but can this kind of expereince truly happen via the interweb? I'd like to think so, at the very least it never hurts to make new friends....
