A bit about me: According to those who know me well, I am smart, creative, confident, very secure, and real. I laugh a lot; will make you smile; and am great to converse with. Other than cards and monopoly,I am mature and game free. I've played Dracula on stage and a tough bad guy in an inde film but am really super sweet. I am not a party-animal although I love a good party, dancing, and meeting new people. A loud bar scene makes me run to the nearest book store. I often really love staying in and curling up with a good film or playing music or just reading.
I love Movies, Theater, Tennis, Improv, Dancing, Skiing, Hiking, and adore my well- worn my passport. I speak several languages, have lived in Europe and, most recently,in NYC. I have my own business in the health field and have been involved in the arts (just ask) since I was a teenager. I have been doing a lot of writing this past year which I find I love but it's really probably the hardest work I've ever done. I am a very family oriented & affectionate guy who grew up in the South- we're all gentlemen there. I am described as laid-back and do not take myself too seriously- which leaves lots of room for humor and wisdom in life. I am new to the Bay area.

Music-wise: I studied voice, play guitar, violin,and some piano. I love to listen to jazz, Spanish guitar, and singer/ songwriters from: Clapton, Santana, Anita Baker, Nina Simone to Georges Moustaki and Jacques Brel- when I am driving. I am a fan of most all music except rap and techno.

I love cultivating new friendships, yet also have the happy expectation that joining this website will...:). If some of this profile strikes a note, then do message me.
