I'm a conversationalist.When we go to dinner or drive in the car or walk, I'll talk and I express my thoughts and feelings. I read the New York Times and the Washington Post daily. (Post online.) I like short weekend get-away trips. Enjoy a wide variety of concerts: rock, classical, new stuff, jazz, outdoor, indoor. Love sports, especially baseball. Prefer watching baseball live in a ballpark, rarely watch it on TV - unless I'm making dinner or something. I like reading books that are well written. I hate writers who over write. I'm comfortable cooking and I like experimenting in the kitchen. I love biking and I enjoy art, especially modern art and impressionists. I brake for impressionists.


This time of year is great. The leaves are turning to those brilliant reds and yellows; the air is crisp. I am hoping to find someone with whom to enjoy the autumn -- and then some seasons beyond. I am up for visiting wineries -- or even doing something foolish like taking a hayride at Iron Kettle Farm or carving pumpkins or making caramel apples. Being able to loosen up and be silly is being able to live and laugh.

I am a fan of Cinemapolis in Ithaca - great films all the time. Truth be told, I prefer thoughtful, independent films to the Hollywood schlock.

I have two terrific teenage boys and I'll be an empty-nester on the horizon

Why does everyone like to meet for coffee or a drink? That takes sooo much time. Why not agree on meeting for a 45-second evaluation period? We fill out eachother's evaluation cards, with a #2 pencil, turn it in, wait for results ... And then have coffee or a drink. Doesn't this make more sense ? :-)
