*Most people have never read the Bible and don't seem to care what it says. I have
been reading "The Other Books of the Bible" and have really enjoyed them. You can

and Eve" and "The Second Book of Adam and Eve". Most of these books are part of "The Dead Sea Scrolls". Try it, you may like it.
*Arnold Murray is the best Bible teacher I have ever listened to. You can find his messages at www.shepherdschapel.com He is an older ex-marine and sometimes comes across as being a little harsh. No one I have ever heard comes close to his understanding of the Bible.
*The unclean foods mentioned in Deuteronomy 14 and Leviticus 11 are still unclean. Most people don't seem to realize this. I didn't understand it until around a year ago. The devil is the master deceiver/destroyer. He likes for us to think the opposite of what is true is correct. If all animals were "clean" then we would eat all animals: horses, dogs, cats, etc. We normally eat very few "unclean" animals, mostly pork and fish without fins and scales. Now, I don't eat pork products and only eat fish that have fins and scales. Of course I discard the fins and scales. Eating unclean foods is not a sin against God but is a sin against our bodies. *It seems to me that most church folks are more concerned about the "traditions of man" than the "traditions of God".
*I don't call myself a Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, etc. I do call myself a believer of "God's Word". Religious names tend to divide people.
