I'm just getting my feet wet and will refine my profile later since it's always difficult to describe one's own personality and requires a measure of rarely exercised subjectivity. Let's see; In Brief, I like a wide variety of music, predominantly older rock bands of the 60's, 70's & 80's,(Beatles, Dylan, Woodstock Music, Elton John, Byrds, Joni Mitchell, CSNY, etc.) although I'm not aversed to some current stuff as well as folk music from the 60's to present. I have an assortment of classical( Bach, Copeland, Mozart...) and several movie scores. I love a good movie and I could write many pages regarding my favorites. I'm a bit of a computer nerd and am seated in the middle of five or six machines. This is part of the reason I thought I should seek out a new relationship,namely one that involves interacton with humans. I'm also an admirer of various art forms, fascinated by assorted scientific diciplines, the wonders of nature and the world around us, oh- did I mention that I enjoy movies? I'm NOT very fond of team sports, working out, running several miles for "fun" or riding horses (they don't have a throttle or most importantly-a brake)Yes, I do enjoy hunting, however I think P.E.T.A. owes me an award for the most consecutive hunting trips (spanning the last 20 years or so) in which the only thing ever harmed by my ruthless firearm use was some sort of metal can. I find that I'm very good at hitting things that are perfectly still and those pesky animals tend to move,(especially when being shot at-imagine that). I think it's really more about the connection to nature and the peace that comes from escaping into a more bucolic environ. What makes me unique? I am somewhat obsessive-compulsive and a little reclusive to the extent that I really value a degree of "alone time" as well as the idea that a good relationship doesn't have to involve spending all of a couples' time together or going everywhere together(after all everyone has unique interests that are often enhanced by solitude) so I may drive you nuts or prove to be an intriquing enigma that you'll want to know more about depending on your personality. I suppose my perfect match would be someone of a similar type but then sometimes opposites attract.

Perhaps the time honored and traditional "Dinner and a movie". of course we would probably meet where we would be eating and maybe even skip the movie if the conversation was going well. First dates are sometimes a little awkward albeit exciting, yet by their very nature will often take an unpredictable course, which is why planning is sometimes difficult. I find that both parties can usually tell quite early if there is some degree of compatability or attraction which usually dictates the length of the evening as well as the likelihood of another date. Relaxation is essential and getting to know another person is a time consuming process.
