Okay, wow this is new so I am not sure if I will be any good at it.

I am first and foremost a father to my three kids. They mean the world to me and spend half their time with me.

I like bike riding but am not a fanatic. I like kayaking but do not get to do it as much as I would like. I love movies, though I have been told I can be a bit critical. I believe that one of the central gifts of life is learning, so I enjoy reading and being exposed to new things.

I love to travel and have been fortunate to have job responsibilities that have taken me to such far flung locales as India, South Africa, the Philippines, Argentina among others. For me seeing places is nice but the experience is in being immersed in new cultures.

My friends tell me I quick-witted and I like to think they are correct. I think that laughter is one of the strongest positives we can give to each other.

Musically, I have no skills personally but appreciate those that do. My tastes run a wide variety though some favorites include Dido, Norah Jones, Bruce Springstein, Eric Clapton to name a few.

I like to write, and after years of dormancy, I am taking that up again.

For a first date I am fairly open, though I would angle for something that allows for some good conversation. Maybe a coffee or a lunch to start with.
