I am left leaning NPR junkie who does not own a tv. If I want to watch something, I can usually see it on the internet. I bicycle quite often. I play guitar and harmonica. I sometimes make money doing this.
I like alt/country music... Can't take the Nashville sound. Love good bluegrass and Mississippi blues. If I go out to hear music I love the Sheldon, Beale or the Shanti.

I have a dry wit and appreciate the same. I read a lot... mostly non-fiction. I love Ayn Rand. Re-reading things I read years ago by her.
A good movie at home cuddling on the couch or going out can be nice. I do not have a yard but I did get much satisfaction from working in the yard when I owned a house.
Camping and floating are things I do not get to do enough. I love the Current River. I have all the equipment to camp quite comfortably.
Family is important. I have two girls. One is about the make me a grand father. The other is 17 and splits time between my place and her mother's house.
A good week end date for me could be bicycling around the city or countryside.
Music is a wonderful thing I love to listen and play... I do not like opera and rap, however. There are exceptions there even.

This city has wonderful things to do, The History Museum, Art Museum, Botanical Garden, and the The Katy Trail... what are we waiting for.
I worked on my grad degree in sociology... I have interests in that area and enjoy lively intellectual discussions on a variety of topics.

Lastly, and perhaps most important, I desire someone who is physically active. Couch potatos need not apply.

I think that meeting for coffee beer or wine would be nice. Perhaps in a place where we could enjoy a neighborhood stroll. Cherokee antique district, South Grand-Botanical Garden area or?
