I love getting into new things, but enjoy most of the basics (hanging out, playing cards/games, drinking, movies, watching most sports or playing a pick up game), I'm a derby fan as well as an animal lover. I'm in a science field with not yet the "perfect" job. I never could figure out how to whistle, but I can put together all "assembly required" furniture myself. I like being barefoot, but warm fuzzy socks are heaven. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (with a Doritos put in it before each bite) is just as yummy as dates stuffed with almonds wrapped in bacon. I can enjoy a shot of Patron just as much as a gingerbread cookie martini. Classic rock over Top 40. If you can imagine a world with out hypothetical situations, you're a few chapters ahead of me.

I'm a fan of always trying to look at things from a different perspective, literally and figuratively. You may have been to Lake Michigan 10k times, BUT it's not the same from Wisconsin as it is from Indiana or Chicago. And figuratively, like the saying goes, ‘there are always two sides to every story' I'd like to hear everyone's side.

I find pleasure in small things like a pot of daises at the farmers market, corny jokes* my dad tells 20x a year, and the ironies of life that make you laugh.

Two truths and a lie....figure out below which is what ;)

1. I've dyed my hair pink as part of my Care Bear Halloween costume in high school and I was asked to leave school to wash it out. It didn't come out.
2. I got lost on my way back to the beach from our hotel on a Greek island with three Heinekens. I freaked out and ended up ditching the Heinekens because they became warm.
3. When I was a kid, I would chase the neighborhood boys around with whatever creepy crawlies I would find, especially spiders.

The company I'd like to keep around is someone who knows the importance of giggling behind closed doors, who loves his family even if he doesn't like them, would slow down the car to let a family of ducks get to the otherside. Someone who has finished some of the things on his "do before I die" list but doesn't live his life to check everything off that list. A guy that knows where he wants to go, but won't freak out if he gets off at an oasis every once in a while.

*I like corny jokes!
