The best way to describe me is first to say what my favorite pastimes are. For as long as I can remember, my two passions were music and movies. I loved listening to rock ever since I was probably 3 years old, and wanted to play guitar when I turned 5. I never mastered it, but I still love listening to it just the same! A few of my favorite bands are the Beatles, Moody Blues, Nirvana, Seether, and Deep Purple, just to name a few. I'm not into country music or rap. As far as my taste in movies, I love mystery/suspense/thriller movies, some scary movies (not the gory type), drama, comedy, and some action. I used to want to be a "movie star" when I was little, and probably somewhere deep inside I still do!

Family is very important to me. I come from a large family, not my immediate family, but I had a lot of aunts, uncles, and cousins when I was growing up in South Jersey. (Yes, I am a Yankee, and proud of it!) There is a comfortable feeling when you're with family. We always went to church every Sunday (Catholic), and I still do, so I am looking for a guy who goes to church regularly, too. Religion is important to me.

I love to travel, too. I've been to a lot of places in the U.S. and Canada, but I haven't made it to Europe yet. But I want to go soon.

I'm not too much of an outdoor type of person, mostly because the things I enjoy doing are indoor activities. I hope to find a great guy who isn't a carbon copy of me, but someone who complements me, and vice versa. And with the holidays right around the corner, wouldn't it be awesome to have someone special to spend them with? I think so!

For a first date, I think going somewhere casual and low-key is a good idea, so it's easy to talk and get to know each other.
