I'm an outgoing, confident woman who isn't afraid to believe that she can have anything she wants with a little time and a lot of patience. After raising three children (2 in college and a sophmore in high school), I've done a complete 180 in my career. I've spent the first part of my life doing what I felt I had to do...I plan on spending the latter part of it doing what I want to do. I have found happiness in living my life with a meaning and purpose that is as much about what I have to give as what I will receive. I search for the positive in all situations and people I encounter; I believe that even in a failed relationship, there is a gem of wisdom to discover.

After experiencing the taste of alot of "bad apples," I appreciate a man that knows how to treat a woman with honesty and respect. One that isn't afraid to speak what he feels....especially when it is good. I'm interested in meeting men that see and think deeper than surface level...someone passionate about more than their bank account or the emblem on their car....whether that be his kids, a cause, or his favorite sport. I enjoy the company of anyone with a sense of humor....especially if they are able to laugh at themselves. ;)

I'm comfortable with most typical options for a first date. My favorite thing to do (initially or eventually) is to go out for live music. I listen to a wide range of music. My ipod has Motown, Boston, Jimmi Hendrix, ZZTop, Gwen Stefani, Pink, ColdPlay, Rascal Flatts, etc..(you get the picture). I also like going to the lake in the middle of the day...or at night....on a boat or sitting on the bank...hiking trails or blazing new ones. There's so much I still havent done that it's tough to say if there's not a new favorite thing waiting on me. I believe the passion that the other person has for what we are doing is a huge factor in how much fun the date is. I would rather go out with a man that spent nothing on the date, but loved what he was doing than to go out on an expensive date with a man that was looking to create appearances.
