Well for those who are actually reading this and didn't just glance at the photos, I appreciate you taking the time. From what most of my friends who are women on here say, you probably get so many messages you don't even know where to begin. Anyway, we all know what we want and most go on-line expecting the absolute perfect idea of what we want, but my view is that this is a place to find someone we never thought we wanted until we find them. I figure if you are looking a guy who is super hot, go to a night club. If you want a guy who is super rich, go to a country club. I don't see myself as being either yet, but they do say behind every successful man is a great woman, so time will tell on that one.

I am a normal everyday guy on the outside. I work high end retail to pay the bills, but I am a bit of a jack of all trades from writing (about to get my first novel published), painting (see my work in my pics or at www.petesprankle.com ), and even once had a band where I wrote lyrics and sang (looking for musicians in the LA area if you know anyone). Basically, when it comes to dating, I'm a frog kissing lots of princesses trying to find another frog. No one really needs a rock star or super model to be happy, unless you are a Rock star or Super model, yet I have known a few of both and many of them are still not happy. I just want someone who take good care of themselves, is smart enough to have valid opinions but doesn't force them on others and is willing to hear out someone else's. (this is starting to sound like the Depeche Mode song "Somebody") Basically someone who challenges me, and in a inspiration and not just another obstacle I have to deal with.

As for INTERESTS: ART, Surrealism, indie films, Soccer (or Football as it is called throughout the rest of the world because you use your feet), weird, psychadelic movies from the 60s and 70s, toys from the 80s, cities where you don't need a car.

MUSIC: The Killers, U2, Jeff Buckley, INXS, The Cure, Queen, Love and Rockets, David Bowie, P-Funk, T-Rex, The Velvet Underground, Bauhaus, Peter Murphy, Joss Stone, Vanessa Daou, Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel, Sting, Maroon 5, Cold Play, Linkin Park, Pink Floyd, 80's New Wave, 70's Glam Rock....depends on the situation and mood

TELEVISION: Entourage, the Office, Absolutly Fabulous, The Young Ones, Cheers, Northern Exposure, South Park, Monty Python's Flying Circus, ...but mainly lots of international Soccer on Fox Soccer Channel.

BOOKS: The Complete Prose of Woody Allen, Pure Drivel by Steve Martin, anything by Douglas Adams, Tom Robbins, and of course the masterful works of Berkeley Breathed (gotta love Opus the Penguin)
