Updated 11/26/09. I am now divorced.
Not sure what to write because I don't want to write anything here that will depict me as anything but what I am or I will not lead women on. I am a Christian and believe the Word of God is the Truth. I try to live it in my daily walk.

With that said I am a true gentleman and looking for that special person God has predestined for me.

I say I am looking for a long term relationship because that is my ultimate goal but I feel in order to find that special one it will take some courting and friendly conversations to get to know someone well enough to decide if she is the one I would like to spend the rest of my life with and grow old together. I really don't know what I am looking for in a women as far as physical qualities, hobbies and interests because I have seen where people who have a lot of the same interests are never compatible with each other. I believe the old saying of opposites attract but also believe that both of you must be living by the same principles and belief system. That is the foundation and that must be strong enough to withstand any attacks against it and you must not waver or change who your true self is to become someone else just to fit in. That is why I have put "I prefer not to say" on the drinking question; I will explain if you ask.

As far as the woman I hope to meet she will bring peace, joy, love, respect, truthfulness into the relationship. I am not looking for one that will cheat or lie, these are my two biggest pet peeves. I am not looking for a Mom for my girls, they have their own mother, but to be a friend to assist them in life. As far as me I love being a father and I will be careful with my children because they do not need to be hurt any further. I am not opposed to have a relationship with a woman with her own children and I hope that special one will feel the same way about my girls. They mean the world to me. They also keep me very young at heart.

I am not looking to be in the dating scene long because I feel my mate is out there and I will find her because I have faith in my God. Besides that I don't want to be just dating to date I want a purpose and goal behind it. The relationship will progress as it is meant to be with no pressure from either side, it will be just natural.

Dinner, movies (but I don't always think this is good for the first date) you do that when you are in high school. I like walks and any other fun things to do to spark the interests of the other one.
