I think trying to describe one's self is difficult but you already know this. I want to be as open and honest as possible.

I think one of the more important things about me is that I do not take myself, or life, too seriously. I spend alot of my time laughing. Life is full of challenging experiences and I believe we should be able to emerge from these stronger and wiser. I truly believe that letting go of any past anger and/or hurt is paramount to happiness. I am intelligent but will not use this as a forum to impress that upon you (really, I have seen alot of this and find it to be unappealing). I will keep it lighter:

I will start with the unmade bed in the picture....had trouble trying to edit it out but the truth is...I rarely make my bed. I am a big fan of afternoon naps and an unmade bed is so much more appealing to crawl back in to.
I am a Libra true to the term. I really appreciate and yearn for balance and harmony. Have never been into drama and have done a good job at keeping that element out of my life.
I think it is safe to say that I am genuinely kind at heart. I am considerate of other peoples feelings and would not define myself in any way as critical or judgmental.

I love to attend and/or host parties and I am very social. I would definitely consider myself passionate. One thing that I have never been accused of is being boring. I do workout but not fanatically( pilates, walking/jogging and yoga are my favorites). I love gourmet food and good wine, trying new restaurants and the occasional dive bar. I am not vegetarian, vegan or on any other restictive diet. I am also not opposed to any of these and have enjoyed many a vegan vegetarian meal. I do strive to eat healty food as often as possible.

I do not particularly like to hike but have noticed that everyone else on this site does :)

I have two grown beautiful daughters that I am very close to and spend alot of time with. I am SO grateful for my daughters and never take our relationship for granted.
My oldest daughter lives in Venice Beach so I am there often. It's a fun place to frequent.
Have done some charity work and would really like to get back in to that. I have a really nice life and I am so thankful for all of the love, family and friends that surround me. I am goal oriented and actually like to work. I have a very eclectic taste in music and I enjoy live music, concerts etc.
I have a very sarcastic sense of humor and appologize profusely to any and all that I have, could, may and will (in all probability at some point) offend. My sense of humor is all in fun and playfully harmless. I am also very sensitive and can cry easily at touching/poignant moments.
I like engaging with new people and would love to have some single friends. Dating is certainly an option with the right person, however, I am a content and whole person with or without a signifigant other. I am open to new adventures, new experiences and meeting new friends ;)
