I just recently graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas where I studied music composition, piano, and orchestral conducting. I'm now a master's student in music composition at UMKC, and I'm really excited about being in Kansas City. Writing and performing music is my greatest passion, and I can't imagine what my life would be like without it.

Besides all the music activities that I do, I love to play sports (baseball and tennis are my favs), go to sporting events (go Mavs!), go to concerts (classical, rock, and jazz), go fishing, and hang out at bars/coffee houses with good friends. And while I like to go out on the town and hang out with friends at parties, sometimes I'm equally happy just staying in and watching a movie or just having good conversation.

I really enjoy having deep intellectual discussions, but I also have a really wicked sense of humor. There is never a boring moment when I'm together with friends! I can pretty much find the humor in anything --- sometimes people actually think I'm doing some sort of standup material that I've been saving up for the right moment. I assure you though, I'm just shooting from the hip. I think my ability to make people laugh is the one thing I've never doubted.

I'm a really honest and caring person, and I definitely look for that in whoever I'm dating. I'm also really close to my family and wouldn't have it any other way!
