I have been single for some time now. At first I was cool with that and I really enjoyed the me time. Now, I have to admit that I miss the companionship of having a good woman in my life. The problem here is...starting over in the dating game is like sifting through a haystack until you find that needle....

I have lived in Atlanta for 6 years now. I work out 4-5 times a week and I enjoy playing basketball and football whenever I get the chance. Besides that, I love good eats. Football season is coming up and that always includes great food off the grill....lol

I am pretty versatile. I enjoy various activities out and about or you will see that I can enjoy myself while staying in for the night too. The key here is the person you are sharing your time with...I think that matters more than what you are actually doing.

First dates to me can be simple. We can meet up for drinks at a cafe' or lounge and just have a face to face one on one with each other to truely feel one another's vibe. Just sit there over appetizers and talk. It is so easy to tell if you would like to continue to see someone if you just sit down and talk. Likes, dislikes, random convo...all of this is the beginning of getting to know someone new....

If the vibe is good, we can then move foward to other activities to enjoy one another's company. (This could be another day or right after the sit down)

Bowling, movies, plays, parks, miniture golf, find a game night, D&B, go to a jazz cafe', and etc.

Dating is about getting to know that person, and as you get to know that person it's also about spending your free time with that person....
