I'm an adventurous thrill seeker who's tired of games and women who want to change who I am so I can fit into thier lives. I'm looking for someone who shares my taste for adventure and the finer things in life and would like to simply have a good time. Take me for who I am, and if you like what I have to offer and vice-versa, we can have a good time together! I've been bitterly disapointed time and again by the standard dating scene and decided to try my hand at online dating for a change.

I would like to find someone who WANTS to go for a ride on my Ducati, WITH ME. (not complain about it) I would like to find someone who understands why took a month long trip across the country from Detroit to California and understands that "I've never done it before" is a perfectly acceptable answer to the question "Why California on a superbike by yourself in a tent?". That tag line sums up my life. I thirst for fun, adventure, and excitement. And when I need some of those things, I go and get it. I work too hard to not play harder.

I work in the automotive industry. I love engines, machinery, bikes, airplanes, tanks, boats, and other cool stuff that moves when you put fuel in it. I'm handy with tools, I like to fix things, and I am well educated and articulate. I listen to anything but Country and yellow is my favorite color. I LOVE wine, downtown Detroit, history, road trips, camping, water, and live music. Most of all I love to ride my superbike. It's my release from the normal world, a special place for me where I don't have to mascarade as a normal person day after day.

I DON'T LIKE the cold, being used, dating people who try to change who I am, people who try to snuff out my creativity, and people who sit in front of the TV all day and watch Seinfeld.

First date? I'm a food snob, so dinner would be a must. And McFood does not count as dinner. From there I'm open to suggestions. I'd be up for shooting a game of pool, put-put golf, watching a movie, heading to the local bar for a drink or watch a band, even getting out the parachutes for a night of base jumping off the Fischer Building.

I also like "picnics". Not Yogi Bear/throw down the blanket style, more like three course meal prepared ahead of time and packed up, find a random location that provides a hell of a view, setting up a table with candles, wine, ambiance, etc... And eating dinner. Think a table for two at some little French Bistro dropped wherever you can imagine it. The more rediculous and/or "you're not realy doing this, ARE you?" the better. The top of a building, a pier, mountain top, middle of the sidewalk downtown, from the middle of nowhere to the middle of everywhere, or even just finding a place to park the truck and setting up in the bed. Food, like life in general, should be an adventure. If eating isn't an adventure, why eat?

The whole point of a first date is finding something that BOTH parties enjoy and would like to do, not just one side or the other. My favorite thing and your favorite thing might not be the same thing, but who knows, if we tried both, we might both have fun.

I'm down to try anything once, and just because I tried it and didn't like it doesn't mean I won't do it again. Especialy if it's your favorite thing! But I also expect vice-versa on that...
